Latest In Beauty July 2017 Unboxing

After subscribing to the You Beauty Box, I was bitten but the beauty box bug again, and started looking around for other affordable options. I came across the Latest In Beauty Box, which is similarly customisable, and decided to give it a try. Like You Beauty Box, you choose a number of products each month based on which tier you’ve chosen, with some sachets put in at random too. Rather that products only being available for one month, Latest In Beauty keeps a pool of products which is larger, with new products being added and old ones taken away after a longer period. This means that you have more chance to try out products if there are a lot of different items you’d like to get. However, as a new subscriber I’ve yet to see how often and how many new products are added to the pool. Whether or not I continue my subscription long term will depend on that.

The three tiers of the Latest In Beauty box are as follows:

  • £9 per month for 3 products
  • £15 per month for 6 products
  • £18 per month for 9 products

You Beauty Box: June 2017 Unboxing and First Impressions

Today my June edition of the You Beauty Box arrived! I chose my items on the first of the month and I’m really glad I did as some of the items went out of stock quickly! I’m happy to say that I got all the items I picked out.

The Beauty Box With Customisation: You Beauty Box!

My first ever You Beauty Box arrived just last week! Before I show you what was inside, I thought I’d give you all a quick review of the service. I’d like to say here that I’m in no way affiliated with You Magazine or You Beauty Box, so this is just me talking as a regular subscriber.

I’ve had subscription boxes (Birchbox and Glossybox) in the past, but I quickly fell out of love with them once the initial novelty had worn off. While they tried to take into account your basic skin tone, type and hair type, there was little else in the way of customisation, so I kept getting things that I had no interest in. The amount of perfumes and silicone-based hair products that went straight in the bin was bother disappointing and wasteful, so I cancelled my subscriptions.
